About U-Hammer Drives:

U-Hammer Drives come with an electro-brass or stainless finish in most sizes and are manufactured to BS4174. In the less popular larger 10-gauge diameter they are available in a zinc-plated finish only; please note that U-Hammer Drive Screws are sometimes also called Hammer Drive Rivets.

Installation and Application of U-Hammer Drives:

Generally used in engineering applications, U-Hammer Drive Screws are most often used to permanently fix specification or rating plates to pieces of plant. They are installed into a pre-drilled hole using a hammer on the round head: the screw body features a fast helix design that cannot be removed once installed, which makes U-Hammer Drives an excellent type of rivet to use in projects.
