Thumb Screws - Shouldered
A thumbscrew resembles a threaded bolt that has a thin, flat head that enables it to be turned with the thumb and index finger.
Shouldered thumbscrews are generally used in conjunction with a washer (purchased separately) that locates against the underside of the shoulder.
The head of a shouldered thumbscrew is smaller than that off the shoulderless version.
Shouldered thumbscrews are available with a metric coarse head with a zinc plated finish.
We also currently have a small number of thumbscrews with a BS Whitworth imperial thread, in a self-coloured steel finish.
