Tee Hinges
Tee hinges are an asymmetrical variety of hinge – one leaf of the hinge is similar to that of a strap hinge, while the other is a standard butt hinge leaf.
They are most often used for lightweight shed doors or gates, where the long leaf is affixed to the door or gate and the short leaf to the jamb or post. We do also offer heavy duty tee hinges for larger door applications. The long leaf helps to evenly distribute the weight, putting less stress on the hinge.
We supply tee hinges in galvanised, black, and BZP finishes. Tee hinges are classed by the load that they can carry – we offer heavy, medium, and light tee hinges.
