Superglue
Whilst superglue is the common name for various types of strong, quick-acting adhesives, the correct chemical term for these products is Cyanoacrylates. Cyanoacrylates are a one-part adhesive (no activator is required). They cure in the presence of humidity in the air, making them extremely fast-acting
The different types of super glues
Our superglues from Delta Adhesives are available in a wide range of variations depending upon the material being glued. It is always advisable to test a small area of material before the main bond is made as some types of material, particularly some plastics, may be affected by solvents.
Cyno 1200 is a medium to high viscosity superglue for use on metals, plastics, ferrite magnets, rubber and ceramics and is a good choice where uneven surfaces are present.
Cyno 110 is a medium viscosity general purpose good all rounder and is also ideal for use on EPDM and SBR (synthetic rubbers), metals and ceramic substrates.
Extra D403 superglue is a low to medium viscosity superglue used as a general-purpose adhesive on pottery, steel, brass, leather, rubber and jewellery.
Cyno-gel thixotropic is a high-performance adhesive for use on paper, wood, cork, leather, card, metals and some plastics. The gelled formulation makes it easy to use on vertical and inverted surfaces.
