Socket Cap Screws - Low Head
If there is a need to preserve more space, or even if it is for aesthetic reasons, a low head socket cap screw may be the answer. They are used not only on flat surfaces but also in counterbore holes so the head can be sunk in. There may not be enough room to have a full head depth counterbore, so a low head socket cap screw is then the most suitable option.
The same as a normal socket cap screw but simply with a reduced head. It still encompasses a hexagonal drive that is fastened with an Allen key or screwdriver with hexagonal insert bits.
Our low head socket cap screws are manufactured in both metric and imperial standards as follows.
- Metric – ISO 4762 DIN 912
- Imperial – BS2470
