How are Rosett fixings made?

Rosett cavity fixings are manufactured from PA6 nylon used to create a sleeve with a 30% glass fibre reinforced thread and cone nut. They are available with either an integral 5mm pan head screw or a hook.

The screw is grade 5.8 and is zinc plated. It is fastened with a T25 Torx drive.

Can they be used with all types of board?

Rosett fixings have been designed to be used to fasten materials to plasterboard, fibreboard and chipboard. They can also be used in other similar applications when an item needs to fixed into a cavity board.

The Rosett fixing can withstand temperatures from -40 up to +80 degrees C.

How are Rosett Fixings installed?

  1. Drill 10mm hole and insert Rosett flush with the wall
  2. Insert screw through fixture into fitting
  3. Tighten screw using a T25 Torx driver bit
  4. Use Blue Rosett for board dimensions of 3-18mm and single skin plasterboard
  5. Use Red Rosett for board dimensions of 18-30mm and double skin plasterboard
