Hex Bolts
A hexagon bolt, or hex bolt to give it its more common name, is a threaded bolt with a plain shank and hexagon shaped head.
Hex bolts are available in both metric and imperial thread sizes in a wide range of finishes.
Traditionally, hex bolts used to be referred to as X-O-X, or Hex-Round-Hex. This signified that the bolt had a hexagon head, a round neck and a hexagon nut.
Our hex bolts are manufactured to the following standards;
- Metric - BS EN Din931 High Tensile Grade 8.8
- Imperial UNF & UNC Grade S - BS1768 for UNF and UNC grade S
- Imperial BSF, BSW, BA Grade R - BS1083
Please note that hex bolts are supplied without nuts, which should be ordered separately.
