What Size Thread are Car Seat Belt Bolts?

In the fasteners industry we supply fixings and fasteners to a great many mechanics and car restorers. One question that we are frequently asked is regarding the size of seat fasteners.

The majority of all seat belt bolts are 7/16” UNF thread, in varying lengths depending upon the vehicle type.
