Decking Screws - In Dex Hex
We stock In-Dex timber screws as a variation of the FastenMaster TimberLOK screws.
Decking screws are a type of woodscrew with hexagon (hex) heads that are commonly used for fastening timber decking to joists. Originally conceived as an alternative to traditional coach screws, they can also be used for other timber to timber applications.
No pre-drilling is required with our In-Dex Hex screws. The deep single thread design promotes precise insertion and reduced splitting, even when working close to the edge of the timber.
The hex head incorporates a flange for increased load spreading.
