Our 1 1/4" UNC nyloc nut is a self-locking fastener with a nylon ring insert at one end of a hexagonal body. The nylon deforms slightly when threaded, creating friction to prevent loosening due to vibration. Common names include nylock nut and prevailing torque nut.
